Educational working holidays at Flowerhill
Students/ participants and equestrians from all over the world are welcomed to Flowerhill Equestrian Centre on our educational working holidays. They must be 17 years of age or older or be accompanied by an adult caretaker.
The program consists of approximately 2-3 hours of educational light chores per day (5 days per week), such as helping around the estate, maintanace of cross country fences and building new fences, grooming horses, collecting wood, general yard duties or maybe helping in our organic garden.
Students get to ride out on our horses and ponies 10+ hours per week, which include optional cross country jumping under supervised instruction and leisurely hacks around the estate. It is absolutely imperative that students have a good basic level of horsemanship and riding before coming to Flowerhill and all participants must have their own insurance. They will have two days off each week, where they are welcome to visit the nearby towns and cities or explore some other parts of our beautiful country. (transport needs to be arranged by themselves)
